Alaro
The typical Mallorcan village of Alaro is in a peaceful location at the foot of the Sierra de Tramontana Mountains about 13 miles inland from the western coast of Mallorca. This is a wonderful destination combining a rural location with scenic beauty.

The village market on Saturday is always popular, and the ideal place to stock up on fresh Mallorcan produce. Like many small towns and villages in Mallorca, in Alaro you can enjoy a variety of festivals which take place throughout the year. These lively events are great for experiencing some of the local Mallorcan culture. The hills and mountains surrounding are very scenic and ideal for enjoying walking and hiking, plus there’s a castle to find and explore!
